Can you please teach me...Actually I own a monte and my firmware is DDJC1..I wanted to mod it and requested the top modders but noone is interested...so i thot il mod it myself...............

You need to use binedit. Only problem is that binedit is in russian, and i know of no other translations, even though it seems to be able to support it.

What problems are you getting, i'm also from india, there is not much of a differebce between the indian and the russian fw's, only a few minor changes, i know you are a monte user but even the monte fw's shudnt be very different, and believe me, making patches isnt as easy as u think, so it's better u just flash anoder fw

I had XEJE1 and tried MFJF1 too but my GPS stopped working,Push mail,Active-Sync stopped working and many such problems... I'm ready to do whatever it takes to make a patch...I just need you guys to just explain me the procedure like how to do it, Wat tools to use etc...I know that if I work hard, I'l be able to do it...

The gps downloading doesn't end and it says download failed after some time...Push-mail and Active-Sync doesnt work at all...Wen I switched back to DDJC1,All started working..Gaurav I think I have an idea...can you help me?? lyk do you know the rc1 file?? Wen we extract it,we get the main menu file in the .swf format....so if I just replace the file with a new main menu and flash it,will it work?? The question is open to all...

You are talking about injecting menu.swf, the software that comes for injecting rc1 is also fw selective, mostly for russian fw's, i dont know if there is one for indian fws, try flashing your phone wid another fw, and then downloading the latest browser settings from ur service provider

im not sure About that...But smp files are avaliable at keeg.ru...Or You could pm a patchmaker on DFG Starmods to send you all the smp files you need

Nop... Different for all F/w
if it was based on hardware there would be only 1 rc2 used by all starz...Because all Samsung starz have the same Hardware

can anyone help me...i tried to enter into patch menu...
when i Switch on my phone while pressing the 'Lock' button, patch menu opened...
than my phone gets  automatically switched off...& now its not restarting in normal mode or in downloading mode...
wat to do...

First reflash ur phone. then flash with patched.rc2 file then apps_patch.bin then when u turn your phone on hold both power and lock buttons. then once phone has started, release the power button but keep hold of lock button until patch menu appears

i think his problem is he dont get even download mode..so he cant flash the one.

You have probably bricked your phone. to unbrick it, take it to a shop or someone who has a box that unbricks phones
