I am using FW S523WXEIL1 - how do I install this Lock Screen on my S523WXEIL1.  B-t-w, I am a beginner so pls step by step

For making it work on WXEIL1, perform following steps:
-> Connect your phone in Media Player mode to your PC.
-> Go to Phone Memory
-> Make a folder named Res there and make another folder named System inside Res.
-> Download the lock from the attachment in first post.
-> The name of the lock in the attachment is typophone4.swf. Rename it to PhoneLock.swf
-> Place this PhoneLock.swf in the System folder that you just created inside Res folder on Phone Memory.
-> Download a weather.txt file from http://weather.joeearl.co.uk/ by entering your city and Countr name
-> Place that weather.txt file in the System folder.
-> Then switch of the phone and go to patch menu.
-> Activate NewPhoneLock patch and again restart the phone
                     And That's it. You have got the lockscreen working

Tks for your prompt reply.  I tried the steps above but got blank screen (Black)
B-t-w, I had a lock installed before in the phone memory which I deleted from the Res->System folder -> phone lock and replaced it with the new PhoneLock.swf and the weather.txt file

Am I doing something wrong?

PS:  I re-installed the deleted file (My old lock) and now there are 3 files in the System folder Phone lock, Phonelock.swf and weather.txt.file.  I got back my old lock.

The res should be on the Phone Memory. Did you place it there?? And the lock name must be renamed to phonelock.swf . Please make sure that it is that way then the lock will work..

Yes, Its in the Phone memory (not MMC) but I dont know why it is not working. Also renamed the lock file as you said above.
