HOW TO RESTORE BACKUP SMS from Samsung PC Suite

Hi Guys I want to flash my Cell with S5230MMGJK2 firmware. But my main problem is i also want my sms back to phone after flashing as there are imp info in my sms,

There is option to backup Contacts, Memo, scheduler, SMS etc...

But main problem is there no option to restore the backup SMS file ( sms.nef ) back to phone. Is there any third party software's available to restore the same ???

So guys pls help me because of this i not able to upgrade the firmware... :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

there's no way to back up the sms.. :)
maybe you can back up your sms to your sim card.. I always do it when I want to flash my phone.. :)

Thanks for reply,  i have to more than 200 sms dude & the sim card don't have that much capacity,  I still thinking how there was no 3rd party application available for this common issue??

Does this same condition apply to other samsung phones like Monte & galaxy's etc.......

I dunno.. I never use them.. I only use star and xperia this time.. :)
I have more than 120 message.. so I use more than 18 different sim card for it.. and sure it takes time and energy.. :)

which firmware would u using now? :)

It's Too Old Dude... currently myself using S5230XEII2 firmware...& the HTC hero themes to slow on this.... :'( :'( :'( :'(

ps: htc hero is the slower mods ever.. :)
you'll never found this one faster even with newer firmware.. :)
the reason is the creator is stopping work it.. :)

for firmware, MMGJK2 is quite fast and has loads of patches (52) but MXEKD1 has only 18 patches but is really fast so if u want outright speed go for MXEKD1 but if you want patches go for MMGJK2

The animations are smooth, the scrolling is smooth and everything just generally runs without stuttering, MXEKD1 is like this but MMGJK2 is slightly less smooth in scrolling i found

Im not sure but i think if your changing from a very old firmware like this guy then you will notice an improvment
