Yes, Its in the Phone memory (not MMC) but I dont know why it is not working. Also renamed the lock file as you said above.

Tks for your prompt reply.  I tried the steps above but got blank screen (Black)
B-t-w, I had a lock installed before in the phone memory which I deleted from the Res->System folder -> phone lock and replaced it with the new PhoneLock.swf and the weather.txt file

Am I doing something wrong?

PS:  I re-installed the deleted file (My old lock) and now there are 3 files in the System folder Phone lock, Phonelock.swf and weather.txt.file.  I got back my old lock.

Hi nick - Excellent work with big display for people like me who has to use glasses to see the time :) .

I am using FW S523WXEIL1 - how do I install this Lock Screen on my S523WXEIL1.  B-t-w, I am a beginner so pls step by step :)

Hi Guys

I did as per the tutorial and everything was fine till checking the port = COM5 and when I pressed DOWNLOAD  it says Warning : Security fail!!

Download Start Ch[0]
Warring : Security fail!!

Please help

I tried using Firmware S5230WXEIL1 as well as S5233WJVIG7 with luck same Warning : Security Fail!!
