no I mean, disabled security check by other program, then use tk to view..
my finding is useless unless we could remove the write-protection on system folder..
one thing that i found out is that we don't need to patch s3850 phone using the traditional way (star and monte), shp folder contains .so files
.so are equivalents to .dll libraries which you can find in Windows. They contain almost only machine code.
And you cannot edit them, because these are digitally signed, first you'd have to bypass integrity & sign check mechanisms.
a way to disable this checks is by disabling the security in apps_compressed.bin (of course, fully decompressed amd decyrpted)
so if edit .so files (libraries) you can modify the path of specific file ex./system/rsrc/flash/screenlock/screenlock.imswf could be change to /media/screenlock/screenlock.imswf

better disabled of security check in samsung s3850 root using tk file explorer.. more system folder appear.. but problem is, it is write-protected  and some folders/files are not yet shown.. if just someone knows how to fully bypass..

qwerty portrait firmware of s3850 released is cancelled..
bugs and disadvantages:
1. rebooting at many apps..
2. hard to type
3. RED SCREEN..
red screen is the worst.. since you will try to reflash again so the firmware will work..
give me time to edit the firmware..
file is over 90mb.. when extracted, it is over 120mb
if someone really wanted to TRY, then, pm me... but it is on your own risk

i got already the flashfiles of s3850, like the mainmenu,myfile,gadget etc... and it is not anymore encrpyted.. meaning you can see the codes and the fscommand of each.. is anyone still interested to work with for better ui?

Yet,when i turn it on n reboot, it turns off n modem became on, like the java midlet size, i make it 5,but after reboot,it came back to default (3)..
but i wonder what really does megachip do..

i'll post my step by step so that u can correct something wrong in the process:
1. dump csc file (wave remaker)
2. convert jpg files to bmp ( i use cs5) with 240x320
3. convet bmp to img (i use convertforwave)
4. put the img files to images (replace original img files)
5. edit poweronoff.ini correctly ( I ADD UP PowerOnAniImage0=/SystemFS/PowerOnOff/Image/poweron_00.img
PowerOnAniDelay0=60
UP TO
PowerOnAniImage75=/SystemFS/PowerOnOff/Image/poweron_75.img
PowerOnAniDelay75=60 [size=78%][/size])[size=78%][/size]
6. save as non-compresed.csc
problems:
only 20 frames load up
image is blur and strecth

i already check and u just replaced the 20 img.. u didnt add img files more than 20..
