How to have a better touchpad

How to have a better touchpad (more sensivility and better moves), we recommend to make a backup of the numbers(with the newest technology available, pen and a scrap of paper  )

We need to go into *#6984125*#
Select Internals and we put the code *#9072641*#
Next step is to select option  Test Cases
Next one  TS - GWES
First option is to test the screen.
Second option we'll see the touchpad parameters and we can put next ones.

MOVE 5
FLICK 150
PRESS 2
LONG 35
DOUBLE PRESS 800
DOUBLE PRESS 25
POLLING TIME 5

the other ones leave them as they are.
With this you will have better movility and sensibiliy to move the widget bar and take out/in the widgets.

Hey guys i have S5233, i wanted to try these values on my cell too bt the problem is that i cannot edit the values, i.e. i reach the screen where all the fields given move flick, etc etc... with there corresponding values, bt since its a touch screen phone i cannot press the values n no matter where i tap on the screen i simply cannot get the on screen keypad...
Pls help...

hello, I have a question my girlfriend has this telephone and i want to help her with this update for her touch screen :) but i have a question does she need to make a back up from her phone numbers and photo's? Or what do you mean by write down the numbers? the numbers that you say in your topic?

Always back up phone numbers to sim before you change internals on a phone.

I cant edit any of these values once i get to the test touch config menu! :angree2: I am using an F480i so maybe that is the problem? Is there some sort of solution to this???

Hi there.
The F480i as far as I know is running TouchWiz, however an upgraded version like the S8300, however I am not sure why they would be locked.
Which firmware are you using, and is locked to an operator/network provider?

I know it sounds stupid, but have you tried holding your finger down on the values?
If nothing works, maybe Samsung have stopped it from being edited and is just a dead menu that has found it's way over (unlikely though)

I am using the vodacom/vodafone firmware for south africa. If i hold down the screen, it just scrolls, it doesn't bring up another keyboard or anything. I don't understand how other people have been able to do this.

Maybe because of being a operator firmware, they have locked the values to stop anyone from tampering with them.

I am using the F480IJBIG1 firmware so this may be the problem. Would 'upgrading' the firmware or unlocking the phone help?
