Theme STAR HERO for S5230WPDJE4 + Patch

Things needed to get started
S5230WPDJE4 FW: http://www.gsm-data.com/samsung/flash-files/view.download/97/1471.html
- Mutiloader 5.62: http://www.mediafire.com/file/gzmyzmmzjnk/MultiLoader_V5.62.rar
- File menu and the gadget [SWF files]:   MONTE - http://www.4shared.com/file/6DMS4Cii/Monte.html

First of all Flash the firmware S5230WPDJE4 to your mobile. Insert your memory card into the phone and connect it to the PC uisng the USB cable.. Now choose either MASS STORAGE or MEDIA PLAYER mode. Choose the 'Card' not phone memory --"NOT PHONE MEMORY". Copy the res folder including the 'font' , 'myfiles.swf', 'gadget.swf' ,  'menu' and any other files/folders in it from any of the attached themes inside the memory card.



NOW WE START PATCHING

Step 1: shutdown the phone
step 2: Turn on the bootloader screen ("Volume +", "camera", "power")
run Multiloader and plug in the phone and select the following options in it



step 3: Press the "port search" and then select the files from the patch folder

Apps is Apps_patch_S5230WPDJE4.bin file
RC2 file is Rsrc2_S5230W (Low) _SER_PatchV11.rc2

- Click Download
- when "All files complete - Ok" is displayed you withdraw the cable and phone will automatically restart,  quickly hold the 'lock' button pressed (the button keypad lock)

screen will appear patch "Main Menu"

- Use the buttons below inside patch menu as touch screen wont work there

- Volume buttons: up and down
- Camera button, select
- Cal buttons: back again
- Black button (square button in the middle): next page
- Hold / Lock button: save

and the patches are:

ColorTbl (Color background)

VideoSizeLarge (play video 240 * 400)

LowBatRestrictOff (do not kill feature for use when the main battery application)

Master Patch

swf change (like change the SWF should be turned off for quick calculator)

Font (Address Change font, font should be created and put into the res folder in your computer)

Change java MMC (Save game to a memory card, which set the game spoiled the home)

Google to Opera

CheckSignOff (all asked when accessing home network)

kjdispatch.ini path change

DeleteJavaPopup (No question whenever the network = Opera)

JavaLcdOff (java also use it off the screen)

CallUnlockLcd (dag unlock the phone)

delete SThumb.tdb

EasyAdminMenu (admin code: * # 3333 # pass: 1111)

- Select the necessary options and to save press the hold button again! press the call button to return to the main menu and select Restart Phone!

And there you are with the new interface - -- ENJOY!!

i think the menu is not working on my phone. i don't know why. i've tried all star hero themes, but still i end up with invisible buttons. anyone?

OK, i figure out why. the main menu must not be in custom mode.
another problem, the *#3333# is not working if you use patched font.

I think the font files are creating the problem.. u can try other fonts... or simply uncheck font from the patch menu.. that works fine for me .. .. .. ..

*#3333# is working for me .... but i'm not using the font patch .. maybe thats why  :wink:

Well Try Typing once ... like *#3333# ... first letter wont be shown ... and last wont be (if its long )

This theme is actually for 5230 .. thats why we dont have a wifi shortcut... u can take it from the applications menu,.. hope we'll get to use more themes in future...

help me please, i cant get the flash player to work, i did everything but when i press any option in the help it doesnt do anithing, everything else works perfect, ty
