Current Setup at I8000NXXJD3 ROM







- Same WM 6.5.3 build as in JD1.
- Same as JD1 with New skin of Dialpad & Calculator.
- Same as JD1 with New Media Player with capable delete unwanted song from media player with option remain or remove from device.
- Same as JD1 with New functionality of hide unwanted folder in photo app.
- Same as JD1 with New redesign of WiFi & Bluetooth setting.
- Complete CSC which means no more Portuguese language appear when no reset via regional setting.
- Better RAM organize, less memory leak issue.
- Overall smoother than JD1.
- Customize base on Condor GT Black Edition theme + Android Desire Taskbar.

You can change themes in any smart phone.

Can someone explain what this so called "XTRA bug" ???

The only issue i can find on this firmware build,

The included youtube is outdated.
The Widget for google will also try to install an older version of google maps.

I can post updated cabs for each if people want.

Windows Default - Today Clock plugin will show show as "London, Dublin".
Windows Default  - Opera Bookmarks crash.

Opera 9.7 , bookmarks and history are broke. If Opera freezes you have you close it with the Windows taskmanager not Samsung one.

These 3 problems are weird, i re flashed and now they are not doing it anymore... weird. Operas working fine and it no longer says london, dublin. LOL?

Does anyone have a cab of the older Opera 9.5 from Samsung?

Hi,
I am new to this forum and I have few questions about updating the ROM.
My Omnia II is from Singapore and I am located in Australia and I am still using the initial WM 6.5 update from Samsung Singapore. This version has lots of bugs and other issues. I know they have official ROM update available and I think it's JA1 but I can't update it using New PC Studio as it says my phone is up to date and no update is required. It is also too difficult for me to send the phone to Singapore as I reside in different country.
Can anyone tell me which one is latest and best ROM, JA1 or JD3? Is there any other way to officially update the rom? If not, then I will definately try custom ROM such as this one and it looks really good.
I would like to try this rom but I am not sure if it is still possible to flash this ROM to my phone. 
I have never flashed Omnia II before so I am not confident about performing the rom update on this phone.
My device versions are as follows:
              PDA: I8000NXXIJ9
              CSC: I8000XSOIJ2
              PHONE: I8000DXIJ1
With these device version details, is it still possible to load this JD3 ROM onto my phone? If so, which part should I update or all of them? Because some people recomend updating only PDA and CSC part and leave the eBOOT and PHONE part unchanged. Is this true and safest option? or What would be your advice?
Please kindly help me on this issue cuz I am really a novice on this matter.

is this rom official? i heard a samsung release in october....its true?

i use the tomtom7.914 on the wm6.1: is that compatible also with wm6.5.3?

please let me know...someone says that wm6.5 is more efficient and speedy than 6.1....

his ROM is Branded. WHY?
i supposed it is a PURE rom......please say it clearly when you post a rom.....then i'lltry now if all works.....

and the italian language is poor: month names are scrambled (suomi?)...the software is good and fast but..........hey someone replies please

UPDATE Sorry i've downloaded the new 6.5.3 and in octans left "spanish" and not selected the ITV for italy but AMN then italian angiage was screwed up. reflashed with italian at boot and ITV (generic samsung) and all is ok

to Andrewtst: i just downloaded the Condor Black GT theme but how i can manage to install? is there a procedure to see in themes? in the themes menu of the cellphone i can't see it (probably the menu i am referring is the samsung sw menu, not the wm one but i can't find the wm one) please help me and sorry for the complaint about language of the phone, it was my fault with Octans... peace

I have the exact same problem.  Whenever I click the link to download it I get a message telling me that the board I'm looking for is missing or off limits to me.  Anyone know how I can get it to work?
