The XE firmware I have listed is one month newer. You may want to wait a little longer as there will not be much difference between it and the one you currently have.

I am having Monte bought in India and hence with India Firmware... The Internal Navigation is not enabled in this version. What is the right firmware that I can use so that internal navigation can be used by which I can use the satellite for A-GPS instead of internet????

I tried Route66 software and it request to enable "Navigation" upfront before loading their software... Pls guide me...

Hi, Where can I download the US vesion for GT-S5620. I have XXJC2, Is this the old firmware? What firmware should I have? Thanks

There is no US firmware for that model only Euro.

Thanks for your Firmware and details description on how to update the firmware... With this update also I am not able to see the navigation part as an icon... Can you please advice on what needs to be done?

When you flashed the new firmware, you will have to activate your GPS and navigation in settings. If the firmware does not contain the navigation software, you can down load Google maps for free or install we travel.

That will use internet for navigation, but I need to use satellite. There is no satellite identified. I could see lbsapp as blank, rather it would show navigation related. also the phone setting should show option to enable navigation. I am interested in the firmware which holds that option.

Thank you Darkforest. This may be the stupid questions but I just would like to know. Will the Euro firmware works for US? Could you explain firmware XXJC2 and OXDJC2, Do them belong to US or Euro version? Do they old or new? I am unable to tell at all. Thank you so much for your help.

All the firmwares are Euro, Asian, Russian etc... There are no US firmwares for Euro phones. You can use any of the firmwares you want they all contain English just ignore where it came from. But you will not have 3g because the US 3g network is different than Europe. Just use the newest firmware listed for best results.
