S8000OXAIG1

Just bought this from Carphonewarehouse in London. Cannot find single reference to this firmware on my phone anywhere on the net. Any ideas what this firmware is pease?

Also PCStudio will not update- error is "Device not supported - Device you have selected does not support software update"

Old provider firmware. NPS updater does not work.

The updater? May never work, Samsung never finished it. NPS will work, but you may need to update your phone.

Sorry - should have made it clearer before. How can I update the phone if the NPS does not work? Is there a way round this problem to update?
