I have an r800x cdma. I am rooted with cwm with a locked bootloader. I flashed the rom through cwm and now am getting force closes like none other. I think it is because I did not format data, I am trying to get back to cwm to do so but i cannot get back to cwm for some reason now. suggestions anyone?

NEVERMIND ALL IS FIXED NOW. I managed to get bcak to my cwm app and re install it and boot into cwm. all is fine now.

When installing on cdma remember to wipe data not system fyi.

android media process fc's all the time. market and other media services are unusablele until fixed. I wiped /data but not /system because my bootloader is locked. Also wifi shows up as error but would doomlords stock wifi kernels fix that?
I want this rom to work so bad!

Having trouble with this on my r800at.  I flashed to a stock 2.3.4 nordic (.42) wiping everything in flashtool.  Rooted then installed cwm.  I rebooted into CWM and installed darkforest 3.1.0 without wiping system or data.  When it finishes the install and reboots I am missing the messaging app.  I can see conversations.apk in the /system/app folder but can't install it.

Hey man, I tried 2 of your DF Custom ROMs.

I haven't got either to work properly, my bootloader is unlocked. Here's the problems I've had (you have already given the fix for some, but it's easier to just note them all out and put what the problem was, that way if others haven't seen it, it may help them too)

One of them, I got an error (7). This was fixed when I flashed the ICS Beta, although when my phone loaded, it had nothing on the home screen, I couldn't get into the menu and only had the notification bar.

One forces loop, even with a custom kernel, this happens on both 2.3.3 and the ICS Beta.

Another problem I've had is it bricks (first splash) and I have to flash it with flashtool.

Like I said, I have an unlocked bootloader, ability to flash firmwares and kernels, but this still doesn't work for me, anything you might be able to help with?

EDIT:Got it working now. Just about to reinstall CWM and use the format system/data installation.

EDIT2:3G isn't working. I'm not a dev but will try to look for some way to fix this.

Hello, I have an interesting problem. I've installed Darkforest 3.0.5 to my Xperia play r800x, CDMA Verizon. I've gotten everything to work except wifi. I have a locked bootloader and have attempted to use CWM to install the Doomlord wifi module, versions 7 and 6, how ever I still receive 'error' when enabling wifi. Is there any fix or am I going to have to unlock my phone, I haven't had this problem with Cola which I switched from. Please reply asap.

Sixth time I try to flash one of your ROMs, and it always ends with me losing my time and reinstalling the .42 firmware with Flashtool. The first five times I couldn't get past the "Sony Ericsson" logo. This time I kept /system and tried your version 3.0.5, and all I got were infinite force closes. Really?

go back into cwm and format again... thats what i did and never got a force close

Keiran, I am happy to say that this is my first custom rom, and it is an amazing rom! Easy to set up and easy and fun to use. To people with constant force-close issues, just wipe your /data, and the wifi issue is fixable with a module patch.
