WARNING: Emulating Android requires quite a powerful machine. Also, please check the system requirements for the Android SDK here (please note that emulating does not require Eclipse or any other working environment for that matter).If you think your machine can handle Android emulation and you meet all the system requirements, keep on reading.Step 1:Download the Android SDK from HERE and install it.
Step 2:Open up Android SDK Manager and select Android SDK Platform-tools to be installed. Depending on the Android version which you wish to emulate, select the API version ex.: Android 4.0.3, Android 2.2, etc.Step 3: Open up AVD Manager (Start > All Programs > Android SDK Tools > AVD Manager). Press
New... and enter the name of the machine. It can be whatever you wish.
For the Target option, select the API which you wish to emulate. Android 4.0.3 or whatever else you wish.Play around with the other settings to suit your needs.After everything is done press „Create AVD“, select your newly created AVD and press „Start“. Wait for it to load (it may take a while, depending on your system specs).Enjoy your Android!
