hi i've downloaded to my pc DarkForest Sensation XE ICS 6.2.0 rom my phone is updateted to the latest verison but how i can install this rom DarkForest Sensation XE ICS 6.2.0? can u give me an instalation guide? or tell me if i copy to the phone memory, with wich program i can flash it to install? need some help pls. thanks for helping:D

first of all you need to obtain S-OFF and root (gain admin permission) to install a custom recovery like ClockworkMod or 4EXT Recovery Touch (there are tutorials on xda for this) then put the newest 3.32.401.x firmware on the root of your sd card (root in this case means not in a folder) then put your phone into the bootloader by removing battery, put it back in then hold power and volume down key. then let it update your firmware.

then put the Rom file on your sd card and enter recovery mode (put phone into bootloader then choose recovery) then choose install from zip from the recovery menu and navigate to where you put the file.

Hello
I`m bit confused with all posts written here on all forums, i bought HTC Sensation XE some days ago and i need to make clear some things about the phone, its running ICS 4.0.3 + Sense 3.6 + 3.32.401.105 !
The problem i have is Wifi stuck and don`t work (need to wipe to get worked) and i look around and i wanted to install dark forest 6.3.1;2.
Can you please tell me in some simple steps what should i need & do to install dark forest? I have already uploaded on my SD card the dark forest 6.3.1 (450MB).
Hope all these information will respond on fast answer.

you are already S-OFF so you just need to flash a custom recovery then you can flash the ROM

I have installed successfully dark forest 6.3.1 on my sensation xe, after installation i did update the 6.3.2 version ended with no errors. On Settings > Software information > Software number appears DarkFrest Sensation xe ICS 6.3.1 ? does that means that is not updated on last version ?

the Rom works smoothly and very stable, congrats

It is a typo, rest assured you will have 6.3.2 but I probably forgot to update the version info in the build.prop
