Nope, haven't tried because its still in Beta.

Downgraded to Ubuntu 10.10 32bit - the 64but had weird issues and if I was reinstalling there was no way I was keeping unity lol

32-bit fair enough for Kernels?
Why many thinks Unity sucks, and majority of users are using Gnome shell. Honestly I liked the change given to UI in Unity.

I've been using Windows 8 since june. Although some of the design is not that good, i really like it because it feels faster, gets the job done easier. All you need is around ~1week to get used to it. Also you have to learn some new keyboard shortcuts (win+c, win+x).
