Samsung lets their Series 7 Family out of the bag.
Samsung finally uncovered their Series 7 Family line of products, which according to them are supposed to be “stunning and simple”. The line-up of the products is indeed impressive. Looks like Samsung thought about everyone (or almost everyone?) and released products of every size and color that they could.
Users who crave for first-class desktop experience can choose the Series 7 All in One desktop PC. Customers can choose either the Intel i3-2120T or i5-2390T with 3.5GHz Turbo Boost. Each one of these guarantee all the performance you may require. This desktop is also touch enabled, therefore all the apps can be easily accessed without the use of a mouse or a keyboard.
Next in the line-up is the Series 7 Notebook. While this notebook was designed for speed, I do think that Samsung could have stripped it down a bit and made it a bit smaller and more mobile. The standard 15.6 makes it look quite bulky, tho there is a possibility to choose a 14 inch display, which should make it less of a hassle when carrying the notebook around. It is also said that the laptop can stay alive for up to 7.8 hours, which is quite amazing for a laptop which was made to be powerful, rather than energy-efficient.
The last product in the family is the Series 7 Slate. The first thing that catches the eye is that it runs a full Windows 7 OS and has an Intel Core CPU under the hood. Apparently this is due to the fact that Samsung wanted to bring its customers a “full PC on the go”. Their website does not say anything about the battery charge, so one can only assume it is not that amazing if they are not boasting about it. Other than that, it looks like a really neat device.
Looks like Samsung really tried hard with this one. While the looks of these gadgets and the specs might seem appealing, the price can be very off-putting. If you want the best bang for buck, there are many many more that can do better and are cheaper.
