Every Android user bothered about his version of android should know what ICS is, if not, it is Google’s newest version of the Android OS (4.0) and has many improvements over Gingerbread, not mentioning a total UI redesign!

First of all, rumors flying about saying ICS will not be compaitable with single core smartphones are untrue, I actually even consider this as a joke as the Galaxy Nexus will be the first phone to get official ICS and it has only a single core 1.5GHz CPU.

The devices that will get some Ice Cream Sandwich are:

Rezound

Vivid

Sensation, plus XE and XL variants

EVO 3D

EVO Design 4G

Amaze 4G

Now, I find this list of devices a bit… small. Google said that ANY device that would run Gingerbread should run ICS fine (with exceptions, ICS will require a GPU for graphics, as graphics and animations seem heavy on ICS) but it seems HTC decided not to upgrade some of their phones.

HTC cannot use the excuse that the other devices are too old. For example, their Incredible S, with a 1GHz processor, was not released that long ago. Also, the Desire S too. I would have expected the Desire HD to be upgraded as well as the Evo 4G, but it seems that HTC have left out these important devices.

Not to worry though, because there is a high chance you will recieve a ICS port for your phone. Whether stock or sense, it doesn’t really matter to most.
And what about the newly released HTC Thunderbolt…Usually, if you have a HTC device and are using a stock rom, you will never notice the difference between android versions, because HTC Sense UI stays mostly the same. So I suppose it would not be that bad not to have ICS, would it?

After all the mess with bootloaders, you would think that they would have updated more devices. It seems not.

I do believe all of the concepts you’ve presented for your post. They’re really convincing and will certainly work. Nonetheless, the posts are too quick for starters. Could you please lengthen them a little from next time? Thank you for the post.

  3. You can use an ecommerce solution to build a business from scratch. By operating online, and not having to keep up a physical storefront, you can keep your operate costs much lower than your competitors (particularly if they’re still operating on the old business model, with a fancy storefront). If you pass along some of this savings to your customers (so they can get products from your online store cheaper than if they shop at the competition), then– bingo! — you have a successful business model. You can offer products conveniently to your customers at a lower price than they can get elsewhere.
